 Main Street and Brookside Avenue
Lewis Brook
A view of the Lewis Brook as it crosess Main Street. This is a lovely, peaceful place to stand and enjoy the scene as the brook meanders its way from where it enters the Borough around the intersection of Delaware Avenue and State Route 31 onward to the mighty Stony Brook River. Brookside Avenue, a fairly short street opened c. 1900, refers to the nearby Lewis Brook.
The sign reads as follows.
