10 North Main Street"Built in 1848 for the Mercer County Mutual Fire Insurance Company, which continued to occupy it until moving its offices in 1949 to 10 South Main Street, the former Blackwell home that had been extensively renovated." (Pennington Profile) Later, this became the home of Pennington Savings and Loan Association. Rosemary and I took the mortgage for our first home from the Association.
